Day 1 - Australia - Honiara (Solomon Islands)
The tour begins with an International flight on Solomon Airlines
from Eastern Australia to Honiara. The remainder of the day is free
to relax.

Day 2 - Honiara
An all day tour encompassing both, local culture and the Guadalcanal
battle sites of World War II. Of special interest is Iron Bottom
Sound, so named after the hundreds of ships and aircraft that lie
below the surface. For those that are keen divers, provision can
be made to spend the day exploring this underwater museum. Solomon

Day 3 - Honiara - Tarawa (Kiribati)
From Honiara your tour is now on your own private airliner with
the flight, crossing the Equator, on your way to Tarawa the capital

Day 4 - Tarawa
An all day tour of Tarawa Island, includes visiting the giant
WWII guns from the 1943 Battle of Tarawa. Of special interest - the
Bikenibeu Cultural Centre and its depiction of the ferocious warriors

Day 5 - Tarawa - Majuro (Marshall Islands)
A morning flight to Majuro. It was here in 1889 that Robert Louis
Stevenson called the atoll the “Pearl of the Pacific”.
After checking into the hotel the balance of the day is free to wander
around the township or simply sit on the beach and enjoy the sun.

Day 6 - Majuro
An all day tour of the interconnected islands of Darrit (nicknamed
Rita by the US forces in WWII), Uligo and Delap. RRE Hotel (BLD)
Day 7 - Majuro - Kosrae (Federated States of Micronesia)
After departing Majuro you head westward over flying the many
small islands and coral reefs that make up Micronesia our destination
is the undeveloped backwater Kosrae with its retained innocence.
After check in at the hotel you spend the remainder of the day exploring

Day 8 - Kosrae - Pohnpei (Federated States of Micronesia)
Again we have a morning flight, over flying Pingelap for Pohnpei.
The island with its lush vegetation, flowering Hibiscus and white
sandy beaches is the image of what most people think of as an idyllic
South Seas paradise. After lunch the balance of the day is free to

Day 9 - Pohnpei
Today we explore the island. Your first stop is the mysterious
Nan Madol, believed that the legendary lost continent of
Mu may lie off it's waters and that Nan Madol was built as mirror
image of a sunken city that could be seen lying beneath the water surface.
Our journey continues with a visit to the local German Cemetery,
here you will see the graves of sailors from the German Cruiser Emden
who died fighting the Sokeh rebels. The Village Resort (BLD)
Day 10 - Pohnpei - Chuuk (Federated States of Micronesia)
The flight this morning is only of a short duration to Chuuk,
better known as Truk. The island is the bustling commercial centre
of the Federation and is probably better known for its Lagoon. The

Day 11 - Chuuk
After a short tour around Weno, the main town, you board your
boat for a cruise around the Lagoon. Here we have the opportunity
to snorkel on some of the Japanese wreck sites that are in shallow
water, such as the Fujikawa Maru, a large aircraft ferry that lies

Day 12 - Chuuk - Saipan (North Mariana's)
The flight this morning takes you to the most northerly section
of our journey to the island of Saipan. The afternoon is free to

Day 13 - Saipan
Your tour today takes in the history of Saipan from the early
days of Spanish settlement, the German colonial period, the interwar
years of Japanese occupation to the present day. Of particular note
is the melancholy area known as Banzai Cliff, here in 1944 whole
families committed suicide rather than having the shame of capture

Day 14 - Saipan - Guam
Your flight this morning is only very short to the unincorporated
United States territory of Guam. The remainder of the day is free.

Day 15 - Guam
Today you spend the day touring Guam, with special emphasis on
both WW II sites and the cultural history under Spanish rule. Guam
has a long history of contact with Europeans, the first being Ferdinand
Magellan in 1521. The Spanish settlement commenced in 1565 and Spanish
Galleons stopped here to re provision on their journey homeward from
Manila. Today you can still see the Spanish influence on the island.

Day 16 - Guam - Yap (Federated States of Micronesia)
You now head south westerly to the island of Yap, made famous
for its large stone money or rai; balance of the day free. The accommodation
for the next two days is extremely special, it was the old German
Telegraph Station built in the late 1800's. Today it has been restored
to its former glory.

All day tour of Yap, again due to the Spanish colonization over
300 years and the subsequent Germany and Japanese periods the tour
has a distinct cultural flavour with the blending of all three with

Day 18 - Yap - Koror (Palu)
This morning's flight is once again an International one as we
go from the Federated States of Micronesia to the independent country

Day 19 - Babeldaob Island (Palu)
All day tour of Babeldaob Island with its rich flora and fauna,

Day 20 - Koror - Sorong (Indonesia) - Ambon (Indonesia)
- Dilli (E Timor)
Todays flight takes us southwards through Indonesia to Dilli

Day 21 - Dilli
All day tour to the far eastern end of Timor-Leste including
the market town of Baucau, through small villages and the Portuguese
ruins, the emphasis of the tour is the cultural life of Timor-Leste.

Day 23 - Dilli - Darwin - Sydney
Today you journey to the centre of the island up into the mountainous
region, from the highest point it is possible to see both coastlines
as a backdrop to the lush forests. The aircraft is scheduled for
a late afternoon return flight to Darwin. After dinner you board
